1895 Bronze Indian Head Cent 1C PCGS MS63BN – TONED!
The 1895 Indian Head Cent is very common in all grades, including Mint State, where hundreds of certified examples are available in either Brown, Red-Brown, or Red. The typical, certified Mint State example rates MS64, though there are also hundreds in MS65. Because Red examples are so prevalent (and therefore affordable), collectors should put their money there. Nonetheless, the usual rules for Indian Head Cents apply — look for strong strikes, early die states (non-grainy surfaces), and spot-free surfaces.
